Janice Raye Miles

Janice Raye Miles, age 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth, loyalty, and independence touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Dwayne McHugh (Suzanne), Vicky Greene (Phil), and Ed Kavanaugh (Reine Amare), along with her cherished seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Ronald McHugh, her brother Norman Jarboe, and her parents.

Janice spent her life caring for others and had a nurturing heart for both people and animals. A former hairstylist, she found joy in quilting, gardening, and floral arranging, and even held the title of arm wrestling champion in her younger years. Her family will always remember her unshakable loyalty, her giving spirit, and the way she embraced everyone she loved as her own.
