Because goodbye can be MORE GENTLE,
And so can your planning
Gentle Water is Florida’s only funeral home offering water cremation:
a sustainable, gentle alternative to traditional flame cremation.
What Is Water Cremation?
Water cremation uses a gentle flow of warm water and natural minerals (alkali) to return the body to its natural elements within a few hours.
What remains are pure bone fragments, which are carefully dried and processed into a fine white powder.
Gentle Water is proud to be Florida’s only water cremation facility.
Why Pre-Planning Matters
Families are often left to make end-of-life decisions in the middle of grief. It’s rushed, stressful, and overwhelming.
Here's how pre-planning your end-of-life options changes that:
Your final farewell is sure to feel meaningful.
By taking the time now to decide what you want, your last wishes will reflect your values... and our loved ones often take comfort in that.
It creates clarity over confusion. No hard decisions need to be made; those you leave behind will know what you wanted and be able to carry your plans out in confidence.
The focus will be on feelings, not logistics. When logistics are handled, time and energy can be spent holding space for grief, celebration, or whatever needs to be felt. This is the greatest gift of all.

FAQs About This Free Planning Session
Oh no. Is this one of those high-pressure "lock in your funeral prices" calls?
Absolutely not. Gentle Water disagrees with the funeral industry's prioritization of profits over care and we approach how we support our patrons very differently.
This is a gentle conversation to help you start thinking about your end-of-life options. Someone on our team with chat with you about your thoughts and wishes. We will certainly explore pricing and options, but in the context of providing you with details you need to begin planning and make an informed decision.
What are the call/meeting options for this conversation?
We can email, text, call, or use Zoom. We can also explore the possibility of arranging an in-person meeting. After you submit the form, someone will be in touch with you to schedule the conversation in a way that works best for you.
How long should we plan for this conversation?
Most Gentle Planning Conversations last at least an hour, sometimes more depending on how many questions you have. We’ll go at your pace; there’s no rush.
Do I have to make any sort of decision on the spot?
No. This conversation is purely informational. Sometimes people feel ready to take action, but you’ll always have the option to take as much time as you need afterward to think about what feels right before taking any next steps.
Can my partner/spouse/children join the conversation?
Absolutely. Many families find it helpful to have everyone together for the conversation so all questions can be answered at once.
What if I’m not sure water cremation is right for me?
That’s completely fine. This is a space to explore your options and learn what makes water cremation different. Even if you choose another path, you’ll leave with clarity and a better understanding of how to plan ahead...and we will help you get there.
What if I already have some plans in place?
We can review what you already have and fill in any gaps, or simply answer your questions about how water cremation could fit within your existing arrangements.
